What People Are Saying

‘At the East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) we are always seeking ways to improve upon our health and welfare provision for our staff.

We were introduced to Able futures a couple of years ago now and there has been a steady increase of our staff using the support hat Able futures offers.

Of course we do not look into the reason why staff make contact with Able futures because of confidentiality but by receiving regular updates with regards to how many of our staff have made contact we have been able to see a steady increase of connections made. This is of course encouraging in that help and assistance is being sought and taken up.

The support provided is much valued and appreciated by all involved be it employer or employee’.

‘I was delighted to hear about the Access to Work initiative provided by Able Futures. The scheme is a fantastic way for me as an employer to provide my employees with free and confidential access to professional mental health support. TTK Confectionery Ltd take are committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of their team and this scheme enables us to do this easily and efficiently. The Able Futures team have supported us in promoting the scheme to our employees through and informative presentation and we are aware that some team members have gone on to sign up to the support offered. I would certainly recommend other business to promote this service to their own employees as part of their health and wellbeing support programmes’.

‘The introduction of the Access to Work service across our UK business has been exceptionally well received. The initial information presented to myself was very clear and well presented, and the manager information sessions held were also very well received and provided a good level of general mental health awareness as well as information about the service available through Able Futures. These sessions have been vital for the effective roll out of the service amongst our teams. Overall, very impressed with both the service itself an the support provided in awareness sessions and resources provided’.
