Mindful Movement

Last month, as part of Health 2 Employment’s Mindful Movement series, Lucy Livesey, Specialist Mental Health Practitioner, kindly delivered some training, and a series of podcasts and techniques to our staff to equip them with the tools and techniques they need to be more mindful.

Lucy taught the group about the benefits practicing mindfulness can bring, and how this practice is benefiting people all around the world.

Mindful movement is simply bringing awareness to the present moment through any movement while bringing your awareness to what's happening in the body, noticing sensations, the breath and gently bringing your attention back when the mind wanders off.
